Who am i

I’ve always been an athlete. In high school and college, my world was the rhythm of the track, my eyes set on the Olympic 5000m. But in 1993, a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) felt like a finish line I wasn't ready to cross. For a time, I believed that part of my life was over.

But the competitive fire doesn't just go out. It finds a new way to burn. After years of learning to navigate a new relationship with my body, I rediscovered the athlete who was always there, just waiting for a new challenge. I found archery.

Today, my dream hasn't disappeared—it has transformed. The track has been replaced by the archery range, and the Olympic dream has evolved into a Paralympic one. My goal is to compete in archery for my country, proving that a diagnosis is not a disqualification, but a redirection of strength.
